What is the difference between an ice shaver and an ice crusher?
An ice shaver shaves ice into fine, snow-like crystals that hold syrup, which is what a dessert needs. An ice crusher breaks ice cubes into coarse, irregular chunks, which is what drinks, cocktails and display chilling need. The shaver is a dessert machine, the crusher is a drinks and prep machine.
